Massachusetts Limited power of Attorney Form allows an individual ("Referred to as the "Principal") to select someone else (Referred to as the "Attorney-in-Fact") to make a specific financial act on behalf of themselves. The act can be from cashing a check to representing the other person in a real estate closing.

Once the act has been completed the form becomes null and void.

Also, if the principal becomes incapacitated at any time or not mentally able to think for themselves the form becomes null and void. So, you want to make sure that if there is a chance the Principal could become in a mental state of insatiability that you obtain a durable power of attorney form.
